AGRM's Annual Fall 2007 Snap Shot Survey - The survey provided demographic data of 22,000 homeless conducted by the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions (AGRM). The figure is a significant increase from the 18% reported in 2006 and represents a trend of more couples and whole families coming to rescue missions for aide during the past four years.

AGRM's Fall 1998 Family Ministry Survey - AGRM conducted the survey to provide a better understanding of the background and family history of homeless clients served by mission family shelters. Table of Snap Shot Survey results: 1989 - 1998 - Since 1989, the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions has surveyed over 100 rescue missions that make are part of it's US membership on the third Friday of October. Conducted in order to determine the demographic makeup of the people they serve, the statistics presented below reveal some important trends in the problem of homeless in the United States.

1997 Snapshot Survey (Fall 1997) - This survey of more than 15,000 homeless men, women and children revealed that 20 percent of the homeless checking into America's Rescue Missions have become homeless because of the loss of government benefits in the past year.

1997 Homeless Veteran's Survey - interviews with 1,200 homeless veterans conducted in late October at 58 rescue missions across the US.
The 1996 AGRM "Snap Shot Survey" is now online! Over 14,000 homeless persons were surveyed on October 11 to determine their demographics and some of their attitudes about homelessness.

Homeless But Not Hopeless - As part of its on-going work to improve the lives of the homeless as well as to learn what the public thinks about the homeless and their plight, the Los Angeles Mission contracted with The Gallup Organization to conduct both a national and regional telephone survey regarding Americans' understanding of, and attitudes toward, the homeless. (Survey conducted between Oct. 9 and Nov. 13, 1995)
