The Association of Gospel Rescue Missions is an association providing materials, training, and support to RESCUE ministries that work with people in crisis in urban areas around the world. The following benefits are available to member organizations: Identification - Fellowship with other RESCUE ministries in an international organization AGRM Membership Plaque - This attractive plaque shows that the ministry is a member in good standing of the AGRM. AGRM Member Logo - Using the RESCUE logo on stationary and publications signifies to the member ministry's supporters and community that it is involved in the international RESCUE association. AGRM Membership Directory - Member ministries receive a complimentary copy of this comprehensive resource guide that includes each member organization and its program services as well as a listing of the individual members of the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions. AGRM's 800 Service - Need help? Have a question or something to share? Our 800 number makes it easy for members to contact the AGRM Office while saving on long-distance charges. AGRM E-mail Discussion Lists - A service that facilitates networking among leaders and workers at inner city missions, especially those affiliated with the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions. It is a unique forum for communicating special news, ideas, needs, and prayer requests. Annual Convention Discounts - Each spring the annual AGRM Convention "stretches" and inspires members with a unique time of fellowship, training, and equipping. The annual convention, held in a different city each year, features outstanding urban ministry speakers and over fifty educational seminars. Annual Short-term Urban Missions Directory - Each year, the AGRM recruits college students to spend their summers working at rescue missions and other urban ministries. Listing in this directory assists member organizations to fill their summer staff and volunteer positions Rescue College - AGRM's new Internet-based educational program for inner city workers. Along with serving as a professional development program for staff members, Rescue College allows member rescue missions to serve as training sites for interns studying for careers in rescue mission ministry. Complimentary Subscription to "RESCUE" Magazine- This quarterly publication presents interesting and informative articles that speak to the everyday needs of AGRM members and supporters of RESCUE ministry. Complimentary Subscription to "Happenings" - This monthly in house newsletter features prayer requests, news of individual and ministry members, classified ads for employment opportunities, resources, upcoming meetings and events of interest to members, and much more. Complimentary Subscription to "Executive Report" - This special publication, sent to the chief executive of every member organization, is filled with up-to-date information and useful resources for both directors and staff members. Complimentary Individual Membership for Chief Executives of Member Ministries - This benefit entitles them to all the benefits of Individual Membership, including a membership card and lapel pin identifying them as voting members of the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions. Consulting Services & Speakers Bureau The staff of the AGRM is available to members for advice, information and assistance in solving problems in their ministry. The cost of time away from the office for an on-site visit (if asked to do so) is borne by that ministry. Countertop Donation Collection Container Program - Attractive donation collection containers with a package of seasonal display signs and instructional booklets are available to AGRM member ministries. Development & Fund Raising Consulting Services - Assistance is offered to member ministries in their efforts to expand their base of support in their own communities. Guidance is available in the areas of new donor acquisition, direct mail solicitation, and cultivation of donor relationships. Savings on fund-raising costs are available through group production rates administered by a professional agency. District Meetings & Training Schools - Each of the twelve districts of the AGRM meet at least once a year for fellowship, seminars and business. Many meet an additional time during the year to learn together in a training school atmosphere. Evangelical Christian Credit Union ECCU, offers interest bearing checking accounts, low interest VISA cards, high interest on savings and low interest loans. Employment Referral & Placement Assistance - The AGRM Office links people seeking positions with Rescue ministries that need staff members. Complimentary "classified" ads in Happenings are available, along with a referral and resume file maintained by the AGRM Office. Position openings are regularly posted to the AGRM’s web site. Evangelical Christian Credit Union - AGRM members are eligible to join the ECCU, offering interest bearing checking accounts, low interest VISA cards, high interest savings and low interest loans. Expansion Fund - The founders of the AGRM had a vision for a rescue mission in every city. To fulfill this vision today, the AGRM Office accepts applications for special assistance from RESCUE ministries that are just becoming established. Rescue Mission Certification Program One of the best benefits of AGRM membership! This program enables member organizations to demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their operations and in service to their communities. The Certification Program is the equivalent of a comprehensive management and facilities audit, a process blending self-study and evaluation in collaboration with an experienced consultant assigned by the AGRM. "RESCUER" Award - This award is given to recognize supporters and volunteers for their loyalty and dedication to the work of the local RESCUE ministry. Each member ministry may give one RESCUER Award per year by applying to the AGRM Office. Annual Publications Award Program This is an opportunity for member ministries to showcase their efforts to communicate to their donors and communities. Awards are given at the annual convention for annual reports, newsletters, appeal letters, magazines, and brochures. Special Discounts on Books, Tapes and Other Resources - A wide selection of RESCUE ministry-oriented books, cassette tapes, and other materials is available from the AGRM Office at member discounts from 10%-30% off normal retail prices. Group Buying Program - Furniture, equipment, foodstuffs, and other supplies can be purchased at significant discounts through Master Source, the AGRM's Group Buying Service. Public Awareness Campaign - The AGRM Office provides promotional guidelines booklets, sample news releases, current national statistics, and promotional resources. Special AGRM Member Discounts - Selected vendors offer discounts on such items as drug testing kits, literature and videos, cleaning supplies, and more. Call the AGRM Office for more information about current offers. Significant bulk buying discounts on Bibles and other literature are also available from several major Christian publishers. Rescue Mission Calendars & Daily Devotional Booklets - Available at special discounted rates through a group buying program, these items are effective tools for promoting relationships with supporters of the local RESCUE ministry. Urban Ministry Library, Resource Center & Historic Archives - The AGRM Office maintains a resource library of RESCUE ministry-related books, tapes, magazines, news clippings, and current information on a wide variety of issues and topics.
